What’s it like working at Your Nursing Agency?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees value the flexibility at Your Nursing Agency, with the freedom to choose their work location and hours. There is plenty of work available across hospitals, community settings, and rural areas, and the pay rate is good with diverse working hours that suit different schedules. Employees also appreciate access to upgrade courses and training for career development, and many have formed lasting friendships with supportive colleagues.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as communication from allocators being occasionally dismissive when employees enquire about shifts, and shift allocation can be inconsistent with reduced hours or last-minute cancellations. The app can sometimes be non-functional with limited information for community clients, and some facilities may be understaffed, leading to increased workload. Additionally, the office environment can present challenges with a lack of team cohesion in some instances.

Poor Service. Rude and condescending allocators. Not paying the correct pay rate for your paygrade.
The good thingsCovid 19 vaccination nurses were asigned to them by the government
The challengesPoor service. Allocators were very rude and condescending. Nurses were treated unprofessionally. The lack of support and the treatment when asking for available shifts is appalling. Would also not pay you the right pay for your paygrade. No equal opportunity. Other staffs were getting more shifts compared to other staffs. Verified when there was no availability for me for the future days, but noticed a lot on my colleagues app. When asked, allocators were dismissive and condescending.

Very upsetting and extremely disappointing to receive disrespect and no support from staff members in the office.
The good thingsI do not have any good things to say.
The challengesThe app itself is non-functional most days. there isn't much information on the app to do with community clients, I almost always had to ring up to know who the client was and what they needed done for the day. At the beginning of working with YNA, I had four too five shifts in the nursing facilities that lasted eight hours each week. It suddenly changed very quickly to one or two shifts each week and community shifts where all that was available. I might get one or two shifts a week in the community some shifts only being an hour long. Today I emailed YNA stating that it was very difficult to afford my living situation with the amount of shifts I was getting. To which a certain staff member replied: I suggest you find another job somewhere else. which has made me quit. I do not recommend working here.
