Work placement

This course includes 100 hours of professional work placement in a school (K-12). The school needs to cater for students aged between 5 and 18 with recognised additional needs. You will need to arrange your own work placement.

Work placement is completed progressively throughout the course.

You can work as an Education Support Worker or shadow a Support Worker.

This industry experience gives you invaluable real-life skills, so you graduate ready to step into a job.

You may need to arrange a Working with Children Check or Criminal Record Check before your placement.
