This comprehensive degree places architecture within the context of the wider built environment and examines the relationship between architects and other professions. Students will gain a broad understanding of urban design and policy and the technologies that underpin contemporary design. Technical and critical expertise is acquired through studio and tutorial work, lab sessions, lectures, seminars, field trips, and workshops. Students will engage with problems of design related to architecture, materials, energy and sustainability, and urban form.
