The marketing degree doesn’t actually teach you anything you need to get a marketing job. It might be ok for an executive marketing role but not for the day to day work that you need to do marketing. It should have internships and teach things like graphic design and crm platforms or other technology that marketers need to use every day yet none of this was even mentioned. Plus the group work is completely backward. Sure it’s important to learn how to work in a team, but don’t use that group work to assess an individuals knowledge of the content when it’s really just the dice roll of how good or bad their group is.
If you want to do marketing this is not the right path, you would be better off doing a digital design course or something around the actual creation of ads and campaigns.
If you an employer, I don’t know why you would use this course to judge a the quality of a job candidate… unless you just want to know if they can read and write.

Good general overview of business theory. Marketing covered most areas well, however digital focus was weak at the time. This was back in 2008-2011, so things may have improved since then.
