The course itself was very well outlined but I found it difficult to interact with others on this course. I am very much a person who likes to work alone and only ask for help when I need it. I think it was having to be interactive that put me off the course. It ought to be our choice if we wanted to be in a group study or not.

I couldn’t fault my experience in doing the Bachelor of Dementia care online, there was always tutors available if needed and all the units were very straight forward and very informative. And now I am working as a support worker with many different clients with very different needs.

The course gave appropriate training for social work, I found that there was little content on a wide range of therapeutic model and rather focused on a solutions focused model only for practical skills

Excellent course for all ages into dementia for both the carer and family. Gave me a much better insite into dementia and what can be done to make their life more meaningful. Well worth the effort in gaining greater understanding.
