This program is accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority (ACECQA) as an approved four-year degree.
Students in states other than NSW should check with their state authority as to the requirements for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher.
Entry requirements
- Successful completion of a three-year bachelor degree in early childhood that is approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority (ACECQA); OR
- Successful completion of a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority (ACECQA) AND have at least one year of experience as a Room Leader in an early childhood workplace OR 2 years of experience as an Early Childhood Assistant/Aid in an early childhood workplace

Credit and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
You may be able to get credit or RPL for some units of this course based on your previous studies and work experience. This means the duration of the course may be reduced.
