This program is accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority (ACECQA) as an approved four-year degree.

Students in states other than NSW should check with their state authority as to the requirements for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher.

Entry requirements

  • Successful completion of a three-year bachelor degree in early childhood that is approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority (ACECQA); OR
  • Successful completion of a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority (ACECQA) AND have at least one year of experience as a Room Leader in an early childhood workplace OR 2 years of experience as an Early Childhood Assistant/Aid in an early childhood workplace
