The course is relatively what I expected some units were very useful to learn and hands on while some not as much. A huge factor to my experience is that Covid pretty much derailed my course I didn’t enjoy the online content at all where I even had to do it for my placement instead of in person reducing the amount of hands on experience I received. Apart from Covid the content was beneficial to learn where the lectures we had to attend were thorough and linked heavily to the prac work we did relating to the topic.

The course itself and the tutors were great but there is such a lack of support from Deakin University as a whole and it’s really disappointing. We were led to believe that there was great opportunity but in reality it is very difficult to get a job with this degree and people should really consider further study if they want to be successful
