This program allows students to fast-track a career in nursing with this accelerated graduate entry.This course is designed to meet the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse and students will be eligible to apply for registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA). Students will study courses including anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, assessment and care of people, mental health, and drug therapy. There are opportunities to complete clinical placements supervised by experienced clinicians in a variety of hospitals, aged care facilities, health agencies and community settings.

The course is run by experienced professionals from different areas of the industry. It is helpful in understanding different options for future careers. The course has included a fair bit of time in clinical placement to expose students to the real working environment. However they do not promote opportunities in getting a job after graduation.
