The course content itself is amazing. The information and links, etc. The downside was the support from the teachers. It’s not even their fault really. It’s because they are understaffed and had 3 teachers to 3 modules and over 80 students per module. You would submit your assignment and have to wait for ‘10 business days’ for it to be marked ‘successful’ before opening up the next module. Even phoning Swinburne to beg them you are on a time limit and you want to start the next module, they won’t open it until it’s marked successful. Very frustrating.

This course was terrible, an entire unit is on writing a resume, cover letter and applying for a job. Basic skills that have nothing to do with bookkeeping. There was barely any content that couldn't be learned by having a basic entry level accounts receivable or payable job. No teacher assistance, if you get a question wrong, there is no guidance on how to correct it, they just continue to say incorrect over and over until your submission is correct. Even when you ask for help they just say to watch the class again. Lazy teachers.

The course has a good balance of theory and practice . I gained hands-on experience on MYOB and Xero. I liked the online mode as I could access the learning materials in my own time.
