Rather confusing at first - really would benefit from Induction of each subject especially how to access software programs, to use them with confidence, and to submit work for marking. Very good overall in relevant content - EXCEPT for MYOB which I think should be an elective, not compulsory. Excellent teachers - quite helpful. Some students need to be told to be quiet while others are trying to concentrate! This was very distracting for quite a few of us.

This course was a great and also had some challenging components for me. I found that most of the teachers to be quite supportive with some even asking how we were coping in our other classes which was nice. I did my course full time in 6 months and found the first term slow and steady with the work load and then the second term had a much heavier workload with lots os assessments and assignments, It was fine but I certainly had to change gears and make more time for my studies at home. I found all of the courses relevant except for the accounting module. I have noticed with many companies having computers these days this course is really not relevant as most businesses have accountants or book keepers. A shorter module with balancing the days takings and writing cheques, maybe creating an item number or a stock item on computer with GST may be more relevant. Overall, I am very happy that I completed the course. I started working as a medical receptionist 3 weeks after finishing the course and have most of all enjoyed making many new friends along the way.

Teachers were amazing. Lots of assessments and it's a fast moving course. The course content was relevant for the workplace. I've acquired a lot of new skills that will help me to find work as a medical receptionist. I studied the course at a full time capacity which was only two days a week so I was able to work too.

As a mature age student who did not enjoy school, I embraced learning to find employment in an industry I wanted to work in. Enjoyed meeting new people, students and teachers.

Completing the course was lots of fun. Being able to discuss topics with other students. Also opened the doors to a wider range of employment.
