This course is well-balanced and structured, offering a reasonable combination of theory and practical application. Given that social workers study a wide range of subjects, I find the two-year degree content appropriate. The placement component is particularly crucial, as many practical skills, such as assessment skills, can only be acquired through hands-on experience. However, the random assignment of placements can result in varying learning outcomes that may not equally benefit future careers. Most of the teachers in the course are excellent, being both helpful and responsive. Unfortunately, the university’s administrative department was disappointing. Their slow response times and insufficient information nearly affected my opportunity to transfer to the Social Work degree from another degree on time.
