What’s it like working at Alliance Airlines?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Alliance Airlines offers a positive workplace environment characterised by professional and friendly colleagues, competitive compensation, and a strong commitment to safety. Employees appreciate the dynamic nature of aviation work and the variety it brings to their daily responsibilities. The company culture is generally supportive, with many noting good relationships with immediate team members and line management.

However, like many aviation companies, there are inherent challenges including difficulties with work-life balance due to scheduling demands and last-minute changes. Communication from upper management could be improved, particularly for remote teams and crew members. Some departments face challenges with staffing levels, and there are limited career progression opportunities in certain roles.

A Place Where Driving Change is the Challenge Itself (unfortunately it's true)
The good thingsThe team (the department that I worked for) was a good friendly and professional team with strong work ethics.
The challengesCAMO Management has not evolved with the company’s expansion. The same methods used when the fleet was around 10 aircraft are still being applied today, even though the operation has grown to over 70. Outdated practices, excessive micromanagement, and a lack of modern workflow structure contribute to a stressful and unproductive environment. The workload is high, yet the salary and benefits do not reflect the level of responsibility or effort required.

Fun, Dynamic and Diverse Work Environment
The good thingsI worked for Alliance Airlines based out of Brisbane, then relocating to Townsville and flying out of there. Alliance is a diverse and dynamic work environment. No two days are the same which creates a fun career.
The challengesWork life balance as a flight attendant can be challanging, but I found Alliance to be very understanding and flexible.
