I enjoyed my overall experience working for APG, so much so that I went back twice!
The good thingsgenerous discount, teams within the stores, ability to make decisions at a store level, the beautiful clothes, high quality fit out in stores, training decisions made at a store level and the support teams in Head Office, respectful treatment from line managers, positive environment that rewards high selling.
The challengessmall business approach means little attention to HR, no consistency in Head Office, no perks (barely have a Christmas party...), difficult to work up to other opportunities, tiny storage spaces are unsafe, managers expected to work outside of their normal 38 hrs.
