Great job if you enjoys sales, high targets and working towards career progression. Not the job for you if you require work life balance and RDO’s. Part time is 5 days a week M - F and there is no movement on this. RDO’s are not an option either. Difficult to get leave - required to pick from 3 different periods provided to you. Culture can be good dependant on the branch
The good thingsDepending on the branch, the culture can be great.
The challengesCold calling. Constantly. Cold. Calling. Haven’t met targets? Cold call. Don’t have anything to do? Cold call. KPI’s can be quite high, especially in branches that don’t have a lot of foot trafffic. Felt like more sales rather than helping.

Would never work for a bank again.
The good thingsThe pay, the customers, location. No weekends.
The challengesThe targets lots cold calling. Just a number since Westpac took over. Do not care for the customers. Annual leave was ridiculous as the bank dictated to you. Reliving at other branches.

Adelaide SA 50001 to 2 years in the role, former employee
Okay role, not suited if you want to progress quickly.
The good thingsThe role offered a good test of my character and with that I have been able to develop a lot of my skills. A lot of the people you meet also make for good colleagues, even friends.
The challengesIt feels no matter what you do, and how successful the stats may show. It’s not good enough. You’ll be targeted more if those high levels slip and targeted if you are not willing to roll over for certain people.
