Don't work here. Just don't. Especially if you're looking for a full-time role.
The good thingsOkay place to work if you're a casual looking for a shift here or there while studying at uni, or even a retiree. Met some nice people my age when I started working here as a uni student.
The challengesLiterally everything. Management here are some of the worst I've seen. Ignorant, lazy, uncaring, don't give a damn about anything. The directors are even worse. The pay is terrible. The rates for casuals are okay, but if you're looking for a full time gig, do yourself a favour and don't bother with this place. Most full-time salaries here are well below the market rate. Terrible money on offer for a workplace with a high staff turn around, a heck of a lot of laziness and incompetence, and a tonne of weekend work / expectations for you to be working outside of your normal hours. I spent way too long working here, biggest regret of my career so far.

My overall experience working at BCEC was great! I got to meet a bunch of people and the staff there were great. All the security supervisors were awesome to be around and mentored us well. Big thank you to Steve, Nav and Ranjeet for being the pinnacle of what security supervision should be!
The good thingsWorking alongside experienced and non-experienced security personnel while being surrounded by an extremely supportive environment.
The challengesFiguring out where to go in certain areas of the center can be a little tricky but once you gain enough experience working there it isn't soo much hassle.

A nice retirement home for those with no aspirations in life.
The good thingsThe challenge was good.
As is in the challenge of seeing how much IQ I can retain by the end of each shift.
The challengesManagement has absolutely no clue (or care) for anything or anyone.
Vision crew is mostly old men who have no skill or useful trades.
Some Audio and lighting crew are quite skillfull and good to work with.
No good vision crew leaders,
specialists got promoted due to age not skill and it's quite obvious and embarrassing.
Your experience, opinions, and skills won't matter or be needed. You are only there to do what you're told.
you will most likely be pressured to take risks that can severely injur you
Management promotes a very toxic environment. Most are proud and gloat when they visit HR due to a complaint against them.
You will get more respect working in fast food than doing AV in this building.
Rostering is horrible, it will not be based on skill but more like random selection.
I sincerely do NOT recommend working at this place.
