What’s it like working at Club Med?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Club Med appreciate the opportunities for personal growth and career development, especially in resort roles that offer incredible experiences and the chance to develop life skills in a luxury setting while making friends from around the world. The office culture is highly rated, with a positive, inclusive environment that respects work-life boundaries. Meeting travellers, using facilities like golf courses, and the potential to make new friends are also highlighted as positives.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Resort roles can be physically demanding, leading to fatigue if employees do not learn to pace themselves. In office roles, there can be pressure from multiple levels of management with tight deadlines. Some feel the salary could be higher, and there are opportunities to improve systems and processes. Certain roles, especially in-resort, can involve long working hours with limited personal time, and the living conditions provided may not meet everyone's expectations.

Absolutely the best experiences ever working in the resorts! It can be a lot of hard work but the memories and connections you make are totally worth it. As for working in an office role, the work/life boundaries are awesome and you work in a vibrant, progressive work culture.
The good thingsRoles in-resort: Club Med offers incredible experiences - it's totally ideal for your 20s. You develop life skills in a luxury resort setting, learn how to overcome hurdles whilst making friends from around the world. If you have the energy for it, Club Med can also facilitate your growth and development into a pathway for leadership and career-long work. It's hard work but you can totally spend your life with Club Med. Roles in-office: Office culture is TOP NOTCH at Club Med. They respect work-life boundaries and keep it fresh, progressive and forward-thinking. It's been a great experience in both sides of the company.
The challengesRoles in-resort: You will definitely feel tired in the season. You give your all for the guests and the team so fatigue can catch up pretty quickly. It's a challenge learning to pace yourself to ensure longevity in your role. Roles in-office: There is always pressure from above. Having so many head-offices in your region means you have lots of management above you in all different directions. In my role I feel as though I'm always needing to have done something "yesterday" when I find out about it.

I’m so glad that I left the job.
The good thingsThe team was nice . Very patient
The challengesThe reservation system is not up to date . For example there are codes if you scroll up and down the page . There is no career progression so I don’t recommend anyone working there.
