What’s it like working at Dixon Advisory?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Dixon Advisory appreciate the friendly and supportive colleagues, the focus on training and development of junior staff, the good work environment and company culture, and the good work/life balance offered by the firm. They also value the learning experience and employee benefits such as free breakfast.

However, there are some potential challenges, including concerns about salaries being less than industry average and the annual bonus structure involving company shares. There are indications of limited resources in mid-management, leading to slow change and poor communication. Employees have also noted limited opportunities for growth, particularly for those without a degree. Additionally, there are concerns about long working hours and expectations of more work than what employees are compensated for. Some employees, particularly in administrative roles, find the tasks repetitive and boring with limited variety. It has also been noted that not all managers/directors have strong management skills when it comes to managing staff.

Great for finance staff, terrible for supporting roles.
The good thingsThe free breakfast and work parties were great, everyone is friendly.
The challengesThere’s no room for movement in admin, after years the pay is still almost minimum wage, the tasks get repetitive and boring quickly so this isn’t the place for you if you want variety in your work.
