Many have formed close friendships and even family-like bonds with their co-workers. Some employees also appreciated the approachability of management, noting an open door policy that made them easy to talk to.

No longer a Company i would recommend people work for.
The good thingsSome great people on the ground level to work with and supporting co workers.
The challengesUpper management has no understanding of the day to day operations and how to achieve the best results for the guests and floor level staff. Used to be a great place to work many years ago until new HR management became involved in every aspect of the business. The Director of Hotels departed from the Company a few years ago and he focused on building people up to make a great work environment and unfortunately that kind of culture is gone for good and Doma is now only focus is money. The budget they set for departments is unrealistic considering the age of the buildings.

Used to be a great place to work 4-5 years ago, but has fallen on hard times in recent years.
The good thingsThe people that you work with are all kind and helpful if needed, and everyone is willing to help each other when there's a lot going on.
The challengesUpper management hasn't got a clue how things operate at the ground level and implement changes that are clearly a downgrade for both guests and staff, just making life difficult for no real gain besides money. Difficult to retain good staff as there is no real reward or incentive for going above and beyond and working hard besides a thank you email every blue moon.

Was a great place to work.
The good thingsThe Director of hotels was a legend.
The challengesWhen he left it went down the toilet and the upper management power struggles where unbelievable to watch.
