What’s it like working at DXC Technology?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees consistently praise their colleagues and team members at DXC Technology, describing them as supportive, professional, and knowledgeable. The flexible work arrangements and work/life balance are highly valued, with the ability to work from home and choose schedules. Many employees also appreciate the challenging and engaging nature of the work, which provides good exposure to various services and practices.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Management can be inconsistent, with some employees noting a lack of transparency and communication from mid to upper levels. Compensation and salary increases are areas of concern, with pay rises being infrequent and salaries potentially not reflecting workload or market rates. The workload and expectations can be demanding, particularly with high caseloads and increasing responsibilities. Additionally, career progression opportunities may be limited, training and onboarding could be more comprehensive, and recognition for high performance may not always be consistent across the organisation.

Only worth it for newcomers or people looking to fill a gap in a resume.
The good thingsFlexible work arrangements, exposure to services and practices
The challengesPoor Management, lack of oversight, too much middle management and lack of accountability, HR are not effective, many roadblocks to hiring against demand, very concerned about finances and detached upper management wants to do everything on a shoe string budget

    A genuinely soul-crushing experience
The good thingsGood flexibility is the only positive thing
The challengesUnfortunately, this was the most disheartening professional experience of my career. From day one, there is no meaningful training or support, new hires are immediately assigned extremely high caseloads and expected to handle complex claims on a busy phone line with no preparation. Attempts to learn by asking questions are met with silence or vague, delayed one-line responses that offer little practical guidance. Leaders, coaches, and senior staff consistently distance themselves with a “that’s not my job” culture, leaving employees to struggle for weeks without resolution. Staff retention does not appear to be a priority, and the environment quickly becomes exhausting and demoralising.
