Vast changes to the management of employees needs to occur to make it an ideal place to work.
The good thingsWorking with other midwives who are dedicated to providing the best care possible. The sense of camaraderie, when the workload is unreasonably high we all pulled together to survive the shift.
The challengesPoor management. Very little care of their employees. The budget comes first so we frequently worked under staffed. Poor interpersonal skills at every level of management.
