What’s it like working at NAB?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees appreciate their colleagues and team members at NAB, noting the supportive relationships they build with one another. The office facilities in Sydney and Melbourne are modern and well-located, with good technology provisions. Flexible work-from-home arrangements are available, and employee benefits are competitive, including reasonable salaries and staff perks.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as inconsistent management support with varying levels of guidance across different teams, and high workload with understaffing where overtime is often expected. KPI targets can be challenging to meet with a strong focus on sales metrics, and career development opportunities may be limited with mandatory waiting periods before role changes. The bank is also undergoing significant organisational changes including offshoring initiatives, and some employees experience challenges with work-life balance in high-pressure roles.

Not much more than money. Awful experience
The good thingssome co-workers. It is a cool job in theory.
The challengesUnderstaffed, underpaid, poor poor management, KPI driven, NOT customer focused. Have no regard for psychological and physical risk in the workplace. Worked 50+ hours overtime and was refused payment as, and I quote "it is your own fault you had to stay". We lost 4 staff in 3 months with no replacements.
