National Dental Care offers a notably positive workplace environment characterised by supportive team culture and collaborative atmosphere among colleagues. Many employees appreciate the modern equipment and technology available in practices, along with the professional working environment. Staff members also value the opportunities for training and development at the practice level.

However, there are areas for improvement, particularly regarding the relationship between upper management and practice staff, with some employees noting communication challenges. Would highly recommend NOT working here
The good thingsA wonderful team to work with enough autonomy to run the clinic. The business is fast paced and teamwork was on point.
The challengesSenior Management not knowing/forgetting what is happening on the floor resulting in preconceived assumptions. Lots of red tape, lack of documented policies and procedures, insufficient and conditional support, comparison of clinics (i.e. showing favouritism - which isn't fair), Senior Management not taking responsibility or accountability of their own actions and blaming downstream. There is one rule for one person and another rule for somebody on the same level as you. Senior Management expects PMs to pick up the mess they've caused.

We just don't Click; The Disconnectedness of the Call Centre Environment
The good thingsThey consistently tried to improve the way things were done and genuinely motivated me to keep trying, even during challenging periods. Their encouragement, constructive feedback, and belief in my ability made a real difference, helping me stay engaged and push through the pressures of the role...Until I reached a point where I realised I was done being there, simply because I no longer cared enough to keep pushing. It wasn’t a reflection of the manager’s support, but of burnout and the role no longer aligning with what I needed or wanted.
The challengesThe truth is, the role felt more like sales disguised as bookings. It was worthwhile at the beginning, but over time it became clear that going above KPI didn’t mean extra recognition or credit—just higher expectations. It’s not an easy role, and the pressure can wear you down when effort beyond the target goes unnoticed. I felt quite soulless in my role and stopped caring because I dreamed constantly of better horizons. Work Environment felt cliquey at times I'm a loner but I don't like feeling like an outsider

It’s been a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
The good thingsThe team are very supportive and create a positive, collaborative environment that makes work enjoyable.
The challengesLike any role, there are some challenges, but they’re much easier to overcome with such a strong team behind you.
