What’s it like working at National Library of Australia?

    AI summary of recent reviews

The National Library of Australia offers a great work environment with friendly and supportive colleagues. Employees feel a sense of contributing to an important cultural endeavour and appreciate the flexible work hours and high pay. However, there are some potential challenges, such as funding restrictions due to government budget cuts, which can impact job security for those on non-ongoing contracts. Additionally, some employees feel there are limited opportunities for career progression, particularly for contractors, and there are issues with management that could be improved. While the building itself is beautiful, parking has become a paid service, which is seen as a challenge by some.
