Good for a seasoned sales professional that can work independently & is not particularly focused on promotion.
The good thingsTreated as an adult to do the right thing. No clock watching or micromanagement. Flexibility around working from home / office. Good benefits; healthcare, phone, internet, subsidized gym, and beer tap in kitchen! Given enough of an opportunity to get results. You are not booted out if you miss one quarters target. Company understands work life balance and always does the right thing by the employee. If you ever need time off for personal reasons or extended holidays its usually always allowed. However you still do have to achieve your (Sales) target by end of year!
The challengesSink or swim mentality from management - not much guidance or help (no real career development opportunities) - just left to your own devices to work it all out.
