The fast-paced environment provides excellent opportunities for skill development, and there are clear pathways for career progression for those who demonstrate commitment and capability. We definitely do not get paid enough to deal with the arrogant Head Office managers.
The good thingsVery busy and never bored
The challengesHead Office managers are petty, unprofessional and rude! If they don't like you, they will not tell you, they will just talk about you to your managers and never let you get promoted. When there are issues, they place blame on everyone else and never listen to ideas for improvement. They make the same mistakes over and over again and never learn or listen. The staff turnover rate is HIGH as they always find insignificant reasons to fire capable and enthusiastic staff. Managers at the store level make less money than the Australian average, and yet are constantly ridiculed and criticised.

A stressful and unwelcoming work environment with poor communication, favoritism, and constant gossip."
The good thingsThe transport is convenient, and there's a Westfield just across the street
The challengesThere was no proper training provided . Senior staff always rude to newcomers. It's very busy, and you have to deal with rude customers and a rude manager. Casual staff don’t get many shifts, but if you're the manager's favorite, you'll get more. People gossip all the time. Communication is poor." No respect from management .
