This program allows students to expand on existing skills and move from music performance, sound recording and production, and music industry business into employment in the performing arts industry. Past graduates have been employed by management agencies, recording studios, promotion companies, teaching institutions, performance venues, and copyright collection agencies. Students will learn about key music technologies, global music cultures, popular music scenes, music business practice and live music performance and will explore contemporary trends and issues through a combination of practical, project-based work and academic, theoretical study.
