Like all Universities, way too much importance is placed on equasions which once applied in the final exam are never used again. I was also unlucky enough to have my degree restructured 2 times during my study...it made all our lives very difficult and detracted from my overall experience, but hopefully that won't happen to anyone else. We also got the shaft with our time tables.must semesters would involve a Lab at 7:30am and an in class weekly quizz at 6-7pm with nothing in between. Which is particularly bad when it takes you an hour each way from home

Course content was quite good and relevant. The facilities were also quite good. The biggest negative is the lack of support in networking/ finding a job.

Ok overall; it would help to have more relevant content for the real life situations, such as applications for local authorities, project management of projects, more focus on civil works as compared to concrete/steel design, design standards used specifically for Perth (as you would expect to get a job in Perth in the first instance)
