Why study this course

This program teaches students about professional models, concepts and skills relating to public relations and communication management in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, with emphasis on the roles of globalisation and technology in modern public relations. The course includes studies in communications and theory, principles and research, and contextual studies that promote analytical and research skills and provide a broader learning experience. Students have exposure to other fields of communication practice such as advertising and journalism, and work with students in inter-disciplinary environments. Students have opportunities to study overseas, and the course emphasises industry engagement.
