Health systems are changing to embrace both information and engineering technology. This program will develop student's skills and knowledge in ICT, engineering and health sciences, through health informatics and computer science. It draws on Flinders' strengths in medical science, health science and ICT to provide students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in a rapidly changing and increasingly technology based health industry. Digital health systems are becoming ever more prominent in society, not only in hospitals and health care providers, but in personal consumables, such as fitness watches, mobile phone app pedometers, and heart rate monitors.
