Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health is a three-year undergraduate degree providing a solid foundation if students wish to pursue graduate medicine, dentistry, veterinary studies, optometry, podiatry or physiotherapy. Depending on which major/minor is chosen, this course will also have a wide range of other postgraduate study or professional career options available in the physical and life sciences, allied health or health informatics. Unique to this course is a Foundations for GAMSAT subject in the first year. This subject will explore core content for medical school entry including academic literacy, critical thinking skills and an understanding of what it takes to be a successful health practitioner. It provides an excellent understanding of, and preparation for, the GAMSAT exam. From the first year students will have opportunities to participate in a wide range of volunteer and enrichment activities in the community. These will assist them in developing real-world skills and a readiness for a career in health and medicine.
