Happy to come to work every day, love the people I work with. The good thingsMy immediate team and manager are amazing. Other departments that I work closely with are also very supportive and collaborative. I have worked for Arcare for 4 years in varying roles and have enjoyed it immensely. The company is still growing and is starting to expand it's staff benefits and giving more recognition to individuals. I think when I first joined the company, although it was an enjoyable place to work, the company seemed to still feel like a "family owned company" despite it's 6000-7000 employees but now, although still family owned, they are starting to listen to people and think more like a bigger company.
The challengesThe pay rate is what holds them back. I have seen it personally, when trying to recruit new team members and the pay is simply not enough - or they have let good quality people leave over pay, despite the cost to invest in advertising and training new people. Investing in good people and paying their worth, is something they still need to look at.
