A workplace experience that left lasting mental strain and a deeply negative impression.
The good thingsThe pay was definitely the highlight. It was nice knowing that at least one part of the job consistently delivered.
The challengesHiring processes would benefit from greater transparency and a stronger focus on merit. At times, there appeared to be preferential treatment toward members of the “in-crowd” and their children, who could bypass standard interview processes and submit a letter directly to the CEO despite lacking the experience typically expected for AO4 positions. Workplace culture could also improve, as exclusionary behaviour and strong bias toward a small internal circle created an unwelcoming environment for others. This dynamic also contributed to low accountability and a slow pace of work, ultimately impacting productivity and team morale.

Will suit people who like to do as little as possible and like passing the their work onto another employee or department.
The good thingsWork life balance and 9 day fortnight
The challengesTime wasted by the political environment and many employees there for a pay check and not the community
