Great company with supportive management.

The good things

I previously worked for The Salvation Army 10 years ago as a job coach and enjoyed it then, now to return and find it still has the same qualities in a job. RDO every month gives a work life balances. Above average salary and with salary sacrificing. Great team environment with everyone collaborating and management and colleagues have been so supportive when it comes to training. No question is too silly.

Company overview

The Salvation Army is about people finding freedom It's a pretty broad statement, but we're a pretty diverse bunch. Across the country we're engaged with every demographic and every age group. We're active in the big cities, the country towns and even outback cattle stations. You’ll find us involved in national issues and you’ll also find us one-on-one in your local cafe. Regardless of where we are or what we're doing, one thing always remains true: we're about people finding freedom. Because The Salvation Army has such a high profile, the fact that it is an evangelical movement of the Christian Church often escapes attention. Yet The Salvation Army’s primary motivation in providing practical social service comes from a spiritual base: its first purpose is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with people of all ages, creeds, and colours.
