Great natural beauty and a truly relaxed lifestyle – that sums up the Macleay Valley in a nutshell and makes it easy to understand why many visitors, after holidaying in the area, choose to move here permanently. The Kempsey Shire has a population of over 28,000 and is part of the Mid North Coast Region which is the fastest growing non-metropolitan area in NSW. As the population continues to grow, the need for additional services and facilities is always considered and planning for the future is well in hand.Source: This is an extract from the company's own website.

Never worked with so many incompetent people, in once place, at one time.
The good thingsNot hard to excel compared to co-workers. There's a lot of dead wood.
The challengesPretty much everything. Even the Council's own internal polling describes a demoralised workforce, frustrated with delays and lack of management.

My experience was not great and wouldn’t recommend anyone they always ask themselves why they can’t maintain staff but never do anything to solve it.
The good thingsNot really any good points.
The challengesManagement aren’t friendly have no experience and you have to dob on everyone to get anywhere in the place. No work life balance expected to work every second weekend with very little incentives. They would look for things to discipline you on and never thank you. Outdoor staff are treated terribly compared to indoor staff. Heaps of policies and procedures you’re expected to follow but management don’t have to but you do.
