    SEQ Catchments is a community based not-for-profit organisation and one of 14 Natural Resource Management organisations in Queensland.We work across South East Queensland to promote the sustainable use of our land and waterways.We partner with community groups, governments, councils, businesses, schools, universities, other not-for-profit organisations, private landholders and Traditional Owners.Everything we do is directed towards achieving the targets in the SEQ Natural Resource Management Plan (SEQ NRM Plan), our community’s plan to protect and restore our region’s natural assets.We are jointly owned by the SEQ Catchments Members’ Association (SEQCMA) and the Council of Mayors (SEQ).Vision Statement: “A sustainable future for our community through management of our natural environmental assets”.Mission Statement: “We take a key role in regional natural resource management planning, secure funding and deliver through collaborative and innovative partnerships with community, industry and all levels of government.”Source: This is an extract from the company's own website.
