I don’t understand why its so hard to get a job :( ive been trying for months and i just feel so lost.. nobody replies to my applications, ive been to 2 interviews and only heard back from one which i was rejected from because of experience (it was maccas ??) and my availability which i told him that i was available at all times so it makes no sense :( i really don’t understand why its so hard as a teenager to get my first job.

The fact your getting an interview here and there is good though. So many people i know rn can't even get across that line :( Do you feel like you interview pretty well? My first few interviews, I was SO nervous, it kinda derailed them.

Try Kmart! I was hired there super easy, ESPECIALLY around this time of the year

Things are really hard right now, you're not alone. Try not to be too tough on yourself in what is a very competitive market.
It might be worth going over your resume, and just tweaking things. If you've picked up any skills from school, volunteer work or hobbies, consider framing these in a way that works as transferable into other roles.
We've got a few practical tips here that might help: https://www.seek.com.au/career-advice/article/5-resume-tips-that-will-get-you-an-interview

Hi when I look at resumes the 1st thing I look at is how long they have been employed at a job for. If I see less then 2 years that is a no, I want someone to stay at the job. 2nd I don't want someone that has a photo on their profile I am not hiring for looks.

yh lots of places are really selective but just give your resume in person and talk to the manager and ask them for a number so you can contact them with updates it helps a lot
