Hey guys, I’m looking for FIFO jobs( Hospitality/ Admin / Retail) in WA but most of them requires minimum 6 months FIFO experience which I don’t have. Have applied in Sodexo/ Civeo but no luck. How to get into FIFO job market ? Any leads would be much appreciated. Thanks.

So employers are offering full time work with a 6 month probation. But yet we still have to give 2 weeks notice and they can tell us any time is this true? I took on full time just to get by but there making things so hard to get to that next stepping stone.

1.5 years. I’ve been applying for 1.5 years and have had a total of 3 interviews. Most of the time my application isn’t reaching a real person and is rejected before I even get a look. I had one application deny me within 2 minutes of applying and I met the criteria. What do we have to do to stand out? Why is experience everything but nothing at the same time?It is totally discouraging, to get qualified or gain more tickets, and get denied with no feedback. I miss the old day taking in my resume

Hi, I’m 18 and have casual weekend work in retail, but I want to get into an entry-level office job like data entry jobs or admin or something basic like that. I’ve been applying but had no luck and I'm not sure if the issue is my applications or if it's my age or experience. Should I be approaching companies directly?
