I have a question to clarify. I work in a childcare center in Killara. I have one question which I need clarification. My 20 month old son is sick. I have provided medical certificate and yet the director messaged me yesterday asking me to come to work tomorrow and saying if my husaband can look after him. I said to her my husband cannot look after him due to his workplace asking him to come to work all five days and take no leave or work from home. What should I do.

After retiring from energy sector, I thought that I will do some odd jobs, such as library assistant, laboratory technician to keep away from boredom and contribute to the community ! Inspite of having 40 years energy sector experience and two master degree, I was unable to impress any prospective employer!! everyone is looking for 22 years guy with 25 years experience. So I guess its better not to apply anymore!! Stay Cool Stay Calm!!

I just want to get some advice, I have applied to loads of jobs but all said I wasnt the right fit but they loved my resume? Ive gone to the interview/video interview stage but I always get told that i'm not the right fit because there was 2 days I couldnt work, but thats changed now I can work all week but no callbacks?

Im feeling very overwhelmed with my job search at the moment. I’m trying to break into wildlife conservation and would love some advice. I hold a Master in Zoology plus a degree in Geography and Environmental Management, with experience in research, GIS, project management and sustainability. I’ve been applying for roles from Ecologist to Project Officer and internships but nothing is happening. What entry pathways or tips would you recommend for someone in this industry?
