I am 19 and had previously set up a career then decided it was not for me and am now struggling with finding a new career path away from my current one because a lot of places will say “entry level” or “start your career” then always choose candidates with more experience and now I am unsure of what my next move should be.

Is it just me, or is finding a job that even sits you done for an interview really difficult at the moment? I’ve applied for over 40 jobs in the last 2 weeks, and not a single one has even looked at my application??? I’m not necessarily under qualified either.

as a teenager in australia it is so hard to find a job:,) we’re constantly getting ignored even by the people who say they are “constantly hiring” even the ones that say no experience needed. ive been applying to jobs left and right and im not getting a single response back. they say teenagers need to get a job from now to provide them in the future, im 17 and i am honestly so eager for a job but theres no luck. does anyone have any advice?

I’ve applied for over 40 jobs, a few have already gotten back to me saying unsuccessful, mainly cause i have no experience. But how am I supposed to have experience if no one’s willing to teach me? I’ve been at the same job, same place for 4 years straight and I want to explore the workforce now.
