I spent two months looking for a job, got one (reservations at a 5 star hotel) which I have years of experience..and got paid 68 py last year for it. This new hotel job pays me 26.70 per hour so barely 55 py and I end up doing basically everything. As my coworkers are two people that are learning and never worked at a hotel before. I feel very discouraged, I feel I can't quit as I'm 'lucky to have A job'.

Why is the business I am trying to review not showing up under 'companies'? In their job listing, it is labelled as 'Hilton Garden Inn Albany' - but when I search for that, nothing comes up. I have it listed on my resume, when I click 'Review this company' it just shows 'Hilton Garden Inn' - but when I search for that under the companies page, even THAT doesn't show up, only 'Hilton', "Hilton Hotels and Resorts' and 'Hilton Foods'. It makes it difficult to leave a specific review.

been applying a bunch of job (100+ job) from retail, restaurants, cafes, hotel, receptionist and even a call centre job and out of all those job applications ONLY 1 company get back to me which is OPTUS STADIUM. how ridiculous is that, I have 4+ years experience in hospitality industry and now just got promoted to be a beverage supervisor for about 4 months now

Hey there! I need some advice!! I want to get back into hospitality but I’m worried I won’t be hired given I’m turning 28 in March, and I feel like most places want younger people as they’re cheaper to pay. Can anyone tell me if this is the case? I worked in hospo from 19-22 years old and then I ended up getting a job at a call centre, then stayed in call centres for 6 years. Working in call centres made me so miserable and lonely. I felt like a robot and the environment is always SO toxic!!!
