I need advice about a team member who is underperforming (cafe staff). Absolutely everyone loves them - the other staff, our customers - but they frequently arrive late, leave early, and mess up orders. I've spoken to them about this, but their work is still sloppy. I’ve also talked about this with the owner and I have their support in whatever I choose to do. I like this person but they're causing me so much stress - what to do??

Hey there! I need some advice!! I want to get back into hospitality but I’m worried I won’t be hired given I’m turning 28 in March, and I feel like most places want younger people as they’re cheaper to pay. Can anyone tell me if this is the case? I worked in hospo from 19-22 years old and then I ended up getting a job at a call centre, then stayed in call centres for 6 years. Working in call centres made me so miserable and lonely. I felt like a robot and the environment is always SO toxic!!!
