How to deal with salary interview questions? In a screening interview I just had, the HR person asked my salary range straight off the bat and I felt put on the spot because usually that comes up later. What's the best thing to say in this situation? I'm not good at wheeling and dealing but I also don't want to undersell myself.

Had an interview a couple days ago. I asked for an expected date that i would find out waited two days and never got one after being told i would receive one no matter what. Bit disappointed and disheartening when you expect to receive one and never get one at all. It has no been 5 days and just accepted i will not be receiving one. Also a bad look on the company i will no longer be applying for a job there.

Okay, so I was approached by the company. Had my first interview on the phone, got called in to the office for a second interview and then the next morning they reached out asking if their salary package meets my requirements. I said I was excited to join and start with them if opportunity arises blah blah and said I’d want more than what they’re offering (not much more) and asked about doing a 9 day fortnight. It’s all under processing but the wait and anticipation is killing me!!! Ahhhhhh

I messed up my interview. I want to do better but I can't just answer confidently or comfortably when I'm being interviewed, and the words that's in my head is not properly communicate, like its been blocked. Someone advice me on how do I handle this?

Recently applied to a job with Amazon for an Order Picker role, nightshirt, and had a phone interview with Randstad agency. Line of questions started well: do have licence - yes, car- yes... Then she asked for my weight and height... Unfortunately, I answered honestly but it didn't sit well with me. I had skills and experience etc. My BMI score would have worked against me even though I am a fit swimmer and athletic. Later that day I received an email that I didn't get the job.

I resigned from my previous workplace because I stopped getting personal and professional support from my employer once I said I was pregnant. They were aggrieved by my resignation (the reason for which I explained was just that I needed a break from the field (which was not the case)). I did and said everything I could to ensure we ended on good terms. I now need that employer to be my reference for a new job, but I am worried they will berate me for it. What should I say in my email to them?

I feel seek platform is very helpful and organised for skills & experience of employees to show & create good image for employer and for applicants as well as many people specially parents don’t have time to organise their resume together or low computer skill people also have face problem so I recommend seek is best website to job seekers than anyone else it’s my personal experience and it’s very pleasant 🙏

Nothing worse than applying for multiple jobs and not hearing back! This new age applying over seek and indeed any any other social platforms is beyond me! Decided to go down to my local library and print out resumes like it was back in the day, to my surprise and shock to the place I applied for I’m now waiting for an opening with a promised position and that’s at the Hospital.
