I'm trying to start my career I'm doing something I'm passionate about but I'm getting really disheartened because I don't think anyone wants me and I want to show everybody that I'm worth something I have lots of clearances and more I would like a job where I can help people and if you think I would be suitable I wouldn't mind talking to someone about this helping me get into position where I can help people

I’m nearly 4 months into my new job and it’s a 2 hour drive round trip and they have let people work from home but won’t let me, they said to me either I can figure out how I can get two and from with the current fuel prices or we would have to sit down and figure out my options. What do I do?

I started a new job in November I had to do two trial shifts before getting hired and offered a contract. After signing my contract the manager proceeded to give me a shift for the next day this was the 27th of November and unknowingly to me the last shift they have given me since signing the contract I have contacted the manager multiple times (2-3 times) two of the times I asked about not receiving shifts and refresh my manager on my availability while the other was a query about where I might

Kind words please .. I was put on PIP last week (junior analyst) after no warning at all. I just passed probation just over three weeks ago and haven’t heard anything bad about my work in that time. I feel demoralised and like I don’t even want to try now. What should I do - is there anything I can do? Has anyone here come back from PIP and enjoyed working at their company?

Am I cooked? Dropped out of uni due to anxiety and personal issues, but I need a job to get out of my living situation (horrible roommates). What jobs can I do that don't require a degree or certificate or experience? I can move anywhere and will do basically anything to get on my feet. i’m 17, second job, junior barista at a big hospo place like the grounds. had ~6 months experience, they saw my resume and still told me to leave my other job and do a full week of training (courses, tastings etc). first shift was fast paced, i was still getting up to speed. next day i got properly sick (throwing up, no voice) and messaged. they called, said not enough notice and i’m “not suited”, then dropped me. is this normal?
