I’m a 21 year old male who has very mild autism. I would say socially I’m not always the best but am always willing to help customers. I work at Coles doing various things and the last 6-7 months has been mainly working by myself which I do like but the work itself is a massive overload. I just don’t know what to do and what else I’d even be interested in. I don’t fully believe in myself due to having autism and it makes me feel down sometimes.

At 38, the idea of starting over in a new career feels pretty overwhelming—especially with financial responsibilities like a mortgage. Hi I’m 24 been a forklift operator for two+ years and recently I feel kinda suffocating at work wanting a bit of a career change something more rewarding than jumping on a forklift and move pallets around, but I’m not sure what to go into. And a lot of the jobs I’ve seen recently require minimum 1-2 years of experience how do I get experience if I can’t even get in?

Hi Everyone, I have been volunteering Group Social Support with Gigbuddies a non profit organisation for disability community, I have been enjoying it. I have been applying for NDIS disability support work the past month or so, it feels like it is moving slow like the jobs I applied for are still advertised and I heard nothing. I was just wondering is it a requirment to have Cert III or Cert IV in individual support? Thank you

Not sure if this is the right place to post as I've never really had a 'career'? Ive hopped from temp job to casual job and part time since leaving school. Had kids so spent time raising them and now they're in school, Im 35 and feel like I want to do something more serious but where do I start? I feel old and behind the 8 ball. Aside from applying for entry level jobs what else can I do? Is it worth getting a certificate or training at my age?

I'm in my late 40s now and want to move from marketing into a more 'meaningful' job, like education or a research-based role. I'm happy to start from entry level in a new field, but I'm worried my age will make it impossible to get hired. Given I would have to study for a few years, is it realistic to start fresh in my 50s? Has anyone here done it?

What do I even want to do?? I love my job, I’ve spent many years doing it, but I’m still constantly wondering if there’s a different job out there. Discovering the job is the hard part. My skills are definitely transferable, but not job-specific for a big change. Taking cool job recommendations/ aspirations, from a Childcare educator.
