I work as trainer and assessor for cert 3 individual support. this is my first role as trainer when I accepted this role. I accepted this role without knowing what awards my job actually under. But after 3 months, now I realised there is new awards for my role when I read that, I actually get paid 5 dollar less then the current awards (awards says $60.18 as casual level 2). Im aware that im new, this makes me hesitant to ask for this to my employer. Im looking any advice, please. thankyou.

We've got some articles on how to approach/prepare for a payrise chat Rumadi, but it sounds like this one is a little simpler. If your role is covered by an award, that's most likely the minimum you should be paid. https://www.fwc.gov.au/work-conditions/awards Sounds like a quick chat with your team leader or payroll is the way to go and get some clarity. 😊
