I’m a nail tech, as well as a childcare student. It’s my first time being fired at work without any advanced warning or announcement. I was just silent and didnt reply anything back since they text me the fired message. Am I worth it to just keep it shut? or tell them that’s not professional?

honey do yourself a favour and tell them that is soooo not professional. It is so wrong of them to just fire you randomly like that. Know YOUR worth. sending LOL, (that's what the kids be saying these days)

Getting told over text message is pretty rough Nhi. It's really hard to know how to approach it without the details. But I think it's only fair that you're given an explanation. Do you think reaching out and asking for feedback on their decision could be an option?
