It's always tough to not take it personally Abigail. But try to remember it's more about them than you (in most cases anyways).
It may not feel like it rn, but it can be a blessing in disguise and be a step toward where you should be.

Don’t dwell on it, it’s hard but it only makes you feel worse. Just remember you know what you are capable of, do not take it personally. At the end of the day we are all just numbers and if they want rid of you they will let you go.

Things happen for a reason, this could be a lesson to make you stronger and better. I personally believe in God and trust that whatever happens, if his in my life every ups and downs is just a part for the learning process.

I empathise with you, the same occurred to me in my first role where I was made redundant a year in. It hurt like hell, but now 15 years on, it taught me more than most of the wins I’ve had since. Perhaps the biggest lesson is about self-belief and being able to build yourself up again despite setbacks. That will hold you in good stead and will differentiate you when the stakes are high in life and work. Be kind to yourself, learn from this experience, and grow. Good luck.
