Crew Trainer
Criminal history & employment - I (22f) made some pretty bad decisions over a year ago, that now reflect in a police check. DUI + offences relating to getting drunk and in a club fight.
I chose to cope poorly with a time of crisis. However I am now doing incredibly better, I’m not a wild person typically and redirected my focus with healthy choices. 8 years of consistent work history + qualifications, great work ethic, usually a nice person.
How would you approach this in an interview?

I will simply explain it clearly the way it happened if they don’t believe I will go and start up my own firm or business instead of staying idle.
