This job search is starting to mess with my head. Some days I feel hopeful... good interview, good chat, maybe this is it. Then days pass, nothing comes back, or the role gets reposted like it never happened.
If you’ve been through this, how did you stop it from wrecking your confidence? What actually helped?

The hardest part is being your own hype man, and actually believing you have something to offer. I know that feeling can dwindle with rejection, but the fact you havent given up means you show commitment. Thats a pretty good quality to have ☺️

I get you, and it really sucks. Just keep applying and don’t give up. Hand out your resume and cover letter, and if you are interesting in doing anything, just keep applying and have hope. I promise you, you will get that job.

Honestly for me it helped finding out recruiters only spend like a minute or two looking at your CV. You can only do your best to put your foot forward, but they can't know you and all you've done. So sometimes they're just looking for someone who feels exactly like the guy already sitting there, or a specific set of words.
Not being picked doesn't mean you did anything wrong at all
