Weighing two Sydney graduate program offers.
Option 1: Siemens Engineering Graduate Program → traditional engineering pathway in electrical/ mechatronics.
Option 2: Australian Government Graduate Program Data Stream (Data Officer at the Australian Taxation Office) → eventually upskill into the private sector as a data scientist or a data engineer.
Equal interest in both. Which leads to a better long-term private sector career in Sydney (pay, opportunities, growth, exit options, lifestyle)?
