Baker Apprentice
Is it crazy to start a career in baking at the age of 45? I have been doing an apprenticeship for the last three months in a bakery where I spend most of my time working on a production line. Since starting work there I’ve developed carpal tunnel and am constantly tired! Anyone here in their 40s who works as a baker or pastry chef in a smaller company that can tell me if it’s easier physically than a big bakery like baker’s delight? Cheers
